MENOPAUSE

Menopause is the time in life where menstrual periods stop for a year due to hormonal changes, this usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 55, but it can happen earlier.

The low production of estrogen and other reproductive hormones, such as progesterone, is the factor responsible for the appearance of the symptoms that accompany Menopause.
